1. Side Sealers apply constant pressure with controlled heat.
2. Fill Tubes deposit product in pouches.
3. Cross Sealers apply heat and pressure to form seals across ends of packages.
For certain products, side seals and cross seals are replaced with die rolls which form the sides, top and bottom seal in one or two stations.
4. Puller Wheels pull and align film through the machine, cool and strengthen the side seals.
5. Slitters separate the packages lengthwise. They can "clean-cut" or perforate between lanes.
6. Cut-off Knife separates packages in the cross direction. Can be equipped with straight cut, serrated knife, or cut/ perforation knife assemblies.
