1. Side Sealers apply constant
pressure with controlled heat.

2. First Puller Wheels pull and
align film through the machine,
cool and strengthen the side seals.

3. Fill Tubes deposit product in
pouches.

4. Cross Sealers form heat seal
across ends of packages.

5. Quench Sealers cool, flatten
and strengthen the cross seals.
They can be used to emboss a
lined or knurled pattern in cross
seal.

6. Second Puller Wheels pull
and align film through the machine.

7. Slitters separate the packages
lengthwise. They can "clean-cut"
or perforate.

8. Cutoff Knife separates
packages in the cross direction.
Can be equipped with straight cut,
serrated knife, or cut/perforation
knife assembles.
