1. Side Sealers apply constant
pressure with controlled heat.
2. First Puller Wheels pull and
align film through the machine,
cool and strengthen the side seals.
3. Cross Sealers form heat
seal across ends of packages.
4. Quench Sealers cool,
flatten and strengthen the
cross seals. They can be used
to emboss a lined or knurled
pattern in cross seal.
5. Slitters separate the
packages lengthwise. They
can "clean-cut" or perforate.
6. Second Puller Wheels
pull and align film through
the machine.
7. Cut-off Knife separates
packages in the cross
direction. Can be equipped
with straight cut, serrated
knife or cut/perforation knife
